James Buchanan - Economist Autograph

This week we feature James Buchanan, an economist most strongly associated with George Mason University.

I did not have a card to get autographed, so I sent him a page from a publication listing the bios of Nobel Prize Winners in Economics.

Like Bernanke, Buchanan was from the South - Tennessee. He was not known for having a warm personality. He had strong Virginia ties, serving as a Professor at UVA, Virginia Tech, and George Mason University.

Next week we feature an economist who helped spurn my interest in economics as a freshman at James Madison University.
